Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco cluster rings from the 1920s and 1930s are characteristically defined by geometric symmetry, clean lines, and contrasting gemstone combinations. They frequently feature a prominent coloured central gemstone, such as a ruby or sapphire, framed by a halo of small diamonds set in platinum or white gold.

During the 1930s, precious metals such as platinum and high-karat white gold were favored for ring settings due to their strength and neutral tone. Fine natural gemstones, including rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and brilliant or single-cut diamonds, were meticulously handset by master goldsmiths.

Authentic period pieces often feature precise hand-engraving, millgrain edging, pierced gallery work, and hallmarks consistent with early 20th-century assay standards. The gem cuts, such as old European or transitional cuts, along with hand-tailored bezel or claw settings, further confirm age.

A classic period cluster ring serves as a focal statement piece for modern evening wear or tailored daytime outfits. Its architectural design allows it to be worn alone on the right hand or stacked alongside slim contemporary bands.

Clean gently using warm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled brush to remove dust beneath the settings. Avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and abrasive cloths, and store the piece separately in a soft lined box to prevent hard stones from scratching metalwork.
