Having Turned Front Legs, Splayed back legs, all with Brass Castors.

Of Exceptional Quality

Sopwiths of Newcastle were joiners, cabinet and chair makers (1787–1935) Thomas Sopwith Senior, Jacob Sopwith and Thomas Sopwith the engineer born in 1803. They had a premises on the Royal Arcade in the 1830s where they advertised ‘Furniture Manufactured from Original Designs' and later in 1863 became Sopwith & Co and had premises on Northumberland Street.
