William Walter Antiques Ltd has dated this George III Silver Teapot to the 18th Century.
The teapot is of panelled serpentine form. W is engraved in the cartouche to one side, on the reverse side the cartouche is vacant.

The hallmarked hinged lid is surmounted by a wooden finial in the form of a pineapple, the base of which is ornamented with exceptional cast sterling silver realistically modelled in the form of an oak leaf, accentuated with acorns.

This Georgian teapot has a plain swan necked spout and shaped wooden handle.
