A fine lidded Old Sheffield Plated quart tankard. Dating to c1780-1800, with a turned wooden base, false bottom and a visible internal seam. This is a statuesque and substantial piece.

Overall in good condition with no dents or splits. With some copper bleed to the raised edges and handle. The interior is reasonably clean with some stubborn marks and some plate wear around the edges.
