Large pond yachts require sturdy floor stands or dedicated table mounts to support their heavy wooden hulls and ballast. Ensure placement avoids direct sunlight to protect painted wood and canvas sails. Positioning them away from heat sources prevents timber warping over time.

What is maritime folk art?

Maritime folk art encompasses handmade objects created by sailors, coastal residents, or self-taught craftsmen. These pieces reflect personal interpretation rather than strict naval drafting rules. Items range from bottled ships to scratch-built sailing boats.
