How do I use a bureau bookcase?

A bureau bookcase combines a drop-front writing desk with upper shelving enclosed by glass doors. The sloping flap folds down to reveal small pigeonholes and a writing surface. Beneath the desk section, drawers or cupboards provide concealed storage while the upper glazed doors display books or ceramics.

Where should I place a corner cabinet?

A corner cabinet fits neatly into empty room junctions to maximise floor space. These pieces utilise awkward angles by offering enclosed shelving behind a glazed door. They work well in dining rooms or sitting areas for displaying tableware while keeping the centre of the room open.
