How do I care for a waxed pine trunk?

How do I identify the age of a trunk?

Examine the construction methods, such as hand-cut dovetails, iron forged hinges and the type of wood used in the interior. Hardware styles, locks and any original travel labels also help narrow down the manufacturing period.
