Hello, I’m Jon Williams, owner of Leeds Antiques. I have been in the antiques trade for over four decades, following in a family tradition—my father specialised in period mirrors, and my mother in ceramics and glass.
I source pieces with an emphasis on originality, craftsmanship and honest surface. My stock ranges from refined country furniture to well-proportioned period pieces and decorative items, selected for the presence they bring to a room. Where appropriate, I work with trusted specialists to conserve and sympathetically restore items so they present well while retaining their character.
Behind the scenes I’m well connected across the industry, including restorers, auction houses, fellow dealers and interior designers. That network helps me source well, advise accurately, and ensure work is carried out to the right standard.
