The glazed door flanked by reeded half pilasters with Corinthian mounts to the top and leaf design bulbous decoration above square panelled mounts. The moulded bowed base with finial to the bottom, and finials set either side; glazed view windows to the sides. Burr veneered panelled back board to the interior. Original movement with two piece porcelain set in twin brass bezels with Roman numerals and original blued steel hands. The tripple brass weighted movement with original brass cased weights hung on engraved brass pulleys. The eight day movement with dead beat escapement and Grand Sonnerie quarter striking (see video demonstration) Bears the makers mark for Lenzkirch to the back plate. Presented in superb original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 52" long x 18" maximum width x 7.5" maximum depth.
