12" convex dial with original paintwork sat behind a matching convex glass sat in a cast brass bezel. The 8 day single fusee movement with anchor escapement and A frame plates; shaped back cock. Samuel Hunter is listed in Britten`s Clocks & Watches as making in Clapham, High street 1811-1856 and Stockwell Place 1836-1839. This superior early dial clock presented in superb original condition, the movement fully overhauled and working. Measures 12" dial x 14" diameter x 5.5" deep.
