Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A dumb waiter is a tiered piece of movable occasional furniture originating in the eighteenth century, designed with stacked circular trays to hold serving items, dining condiments, or tea service.

Victorian and Georgian Revival dumb waiters were predominantly crafted from solid mahogany or walnut, featuring turned central columns, cabriole legs, and hand-carved pie-crust or moulded tray edges.

Authentic period examples display hand-carved details such as pie-crust rims, spiral or baluster moulding on the central stem, hand-cut joinery on the tripod base, and natural age-related patination on the timber.

Position the piece as an occasional side table beside an armchair or sofa, using the two tiers to display books, decorative ceramics, or glassware.

Dust the surfaces regularly with a soft dry cloth and apply a high-quality beeswax polish along the wood grain occasionally, while keeping the item away from direct heat sources and dampness.
