A good reverse engraving on glass . The inscription reads:

"Arthur Wentworth of Bulmer, near Castle Howard, Yorkshire, age 75. Earth Stopper to Charles, late Earl of Carlisle to Hon Brewster Darley Esq and now to Wm Tufnell, Jolliffe and Mann Horesfield Esq" (an "Earth Stopper" prepares the ground before a hunt)

Framed in the original wooden and gilt wood frame and in exceptionally good condition and a good piece of Yorkshire history.
