Description

A stunning George II walnut cross banded and banded chest of drawers, c.1740.

The chest has a rectangular moulded quarter-veneered top above four long lip moulded drawers with oak lining, all above four bracket feet. Later but historically accurate brasses.

The chest is of the most superb colour with a glowing patina throughout. There is some light marking to the top in places but the chest overall is in a very good honest condition.

An extremely handsome piece.
