Clockwise is delighted to present to you this late 19th century inlaid rosewood Swiss cylinder music box with 12 airs, having printed inscribed list to the inside of the lid dated 29/4/1882, inscribed ''No.36329 and made in Switzerland''. In lovely condition this part ebonised box with inlaid lid and boxwood inlay to the front has a lovely patina and stands on moulded feet. The cylinder is 33cm long and all the cylinder pins appear to be present as are all the comb teeth. There is a ''stop/start'' lever and a ''tune advance/repeat'' lever for your pleasure as well as an indicator display to show what air is being played. All the airs play crisply and sweetly as the movement has just been restored and a video of this lovely box is available on request.
