Ivy May Antiques has dated this Silver Enamel Butterfly Brooch to the 1910s.
She is the larger version of this stylish brooch being a generous 5.5cm at the widest point. She will look splendid on a variety of outfits from a floaty summer dress to the lapel of your favourite jacket.

Materials: silver, enamel.
Marks: Makers mark, English silver, Birmingham assay a mark and date stamp ‘s’ for 1917, model number.
Condition: Clasp and pin all in order, no dents or dings to the silver body. A small amount of enamel loss on the right hand wing next to the body of the butterfly as shown in pictures. We do not believe this affects the beauty of the piece when worn but we have priced to reflect this.
