This rug is of classic design with four ''star'' medallions on a midnight blue ground. Each medallion is flanked by the traditional Akstafa birds with large peacock like tails. The field is filled with many tribal devices and designs. The border is a good example of the classic ivory ground Akstafa design.The rug has a soft floppy handle with fine wool, the colour palette gives the rug a soft warm feel.
