Designed with a curved backrest, the upright section is secured by splayed arms, sitting on shaped supports, uniting the seat frame. The backrest and seat have been newly upholstered to a professional standard in a green leather hide, finished with hand tacked brass studs to the frame. The seat provides generous support, stuffed and finished with new webbing and hessian to the underside. The George V office chair is raised on block and turned shape legs, with carvings visible on the front legs. The legs are united by three stretchers, for a sturdy chair frame support.The George V office chair boasts a lovely original mellow colour and patination, having been cleaned and French polished in our workshop to a professional standard, along with the years of care and cleaning it has received.
