Description

A still life by Mathilde Winker which is very finely painted depicting a table laden with a profusion of fruit, a wine flask and glasses etc.

Framed in the original highly decorated wooden and gilt gesso frame with no obvious losses.

The canvas is in very good condition with no damage or paint losses.

Mathilde Winker was an Austrian artist and a few of her works have come up for sale in the last few years. She was clearly a very talented artist but we haven't been able to find any other information about her life. The actual canvas measures 69cm X 56cm. Circa 1900-1920

This painting weighs 16.2 kg and is not suitable for overseas delivery
