Description

A substantial 19th.Century ebonised and ormolu mounted cabinet bookcase. The rectangular shaped top above a cast egg and dart moulding leading to a stunning acanthus mounted frieze. The 2 glazed doors having ormolu mouldings and open via lock and key to the mahogany polished interior with 2 adjustable shelves. The stiles are decorated with caryatids to the top and shaped mounts below. The plinth base having further beading with scrolling and mask ormolu mounts. The sides having conforming ormolu with scrolling floral and mask mounts. Dimensions:- Height…50''/ 127cm. Width…47''/ 119.5cm. Depth…13.5''/ 34.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £75.
