Victorian Smith's Terrestrial Library Globe

A superb Victorian plaster library globe sat in a mahogany stand by Smiths c.1880. The 14" plaster globe with superb detail and colour, bears the makers label for Charles Smith & Sons, London (working 1827 - 1880). Sat in a solid brass horizon ring marked in degrees allowing the globe to revolve and rotate in both directions. Sat in a polished turned mahogany four leg stand. Presented in good original condition with original patina. Measures 17" diameter x 17" high.

Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.

EUROPE AND WORLDWIDE

Through our trusted international shippers we will source the most competitive quote for delivery to your door. All items are wrapped and packed by the specialist shippers.

We are happy to make initial arrangements for worldwide shipments on your behalf. However, please note that the shipping payment is made by you the customer directly with the shippers.
