Figured walnut veneers throughout on a mahogany carcase. The cornice, glazed door frame and base section including the drawer, doors and the apron foot decorated with superb floral design marquetry. The centre panels of the cupboard base inset with ebony panels crossbanded with pollard oak and inlaid with superb marquetry floral sprays in fruitwood and boxwood. The top glazed section opening to reveal an original velvet lined and shelved interior. Matching velvet lined interior to the base section with single shelf. Presented in fantastic original unrestored condition with a wonderful even mellow colour and patina. Measures 85" high x 48" wide x 18" deep at the deepest point. Glazed top 9.5" deep internally.
