Rare 19th Century Painted Refectory Table

A fantastic late 19th Century refectory table in its original folk art decoration, the top with foliate scenes of birds in foliage with vines and bunches of fruit on a ochre background with darker border and original blue bole showing underneath. The base with a shallow frieze all round, raised on substantial square legs with H stretcher, all decorated in ochre with maroon lines. A spectacular and rare item with wonderful colours and details. Circa 1880.
