Antique Heriz Rug

Description

Woven with a geometric stylised flower and leaf design in the main field with connecting medallions this is a beautiful antique Heriz rug in a rare long narrow size.  Often known as a Kelleh, the term for long and narrow, this is a rare to find narrow and long size Heriz rug in good order.  Both fringes have been professionally restored, as each end was missing a few centimetres, and now it is ready to be used again as a beautiful decorative item on the floor.

Great natural days, with pale blues, brick reds, yellows and pinks with a lovely leaf design border.
