Description

A nice genuine Victorian bedding chest or blanket box with lots of character and tactile charm.

Very nice sheen to the clean old timber with plenty of knots and lovely grain.

Original strap hinges and good strong dove tailed construction throughout. Original chunky iron carrying handles.

Original lock, but no key.

Solid plinth, signs of a missing candle tray inside.

Very good and clean inside.

A medium size Victorian chest, ready to use as intended as a storage chest or in the lounge as a coffee table with storage.
