Description

Fabulous Regency rosewood card table with outstanding brass inlay. It's wonderful veneered top rotates to reveal a hidden storage recess with plenty of room inside to store the cards, games, etc and folds over to reveal a green baize games surface. The grain of the wood in the frieze is superb and has detailed brass inlay decorating the sides and front. Supported by a central turned carved column is carved with quadruple splay legs ending with a scroll toe terminating on castors. When closed it makes a stunning console table however it is always ready for games night. In excellent condition with a gorgeous warm colour and amazing patina. This is a stunning piece of antique furniture both attractive and practical, a perfect addition to any home.
