1930'S Phillips Celestial Globe

A Phillips London 5" paper mache celestial globe c.1930. The original paper mache globe with dark blue ground and printed detail mapping the position of the stars, bears the makers label for Phillips, London. Mounted on a brass axis with finial to the top and base. Sat on the original turned ebonised timber column and foot with retailers label for Frank, Manchester. Presented in excellent original condition. Measures 11" high x 6" wide x 5" base diameter.
