Antique Doxa Pocket Watch, C1910

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Vintage Wrist Watch Company

Antique Doxa pocket watch, c1910.

The watch has a signed stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has details of medals won in Liège in 1905 and Milan in 1906. There is some scratching to this inner cover where it has been opened in the past.

The watch measures 53mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is marked as being Argentan, which is an alloy of an alloy of varying proportions of nickel, copper, and zinc. The inner back cover is also signed with the Doxa name. The case is in good condition with just general light surface marks, nothing too detrimental at all.

The glass lens is in good condition with just light marking.

The signed dial has several short hairlines but they are faint. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
