Mid Georgian Preston 8 Day Longcase Clock

A Georgian oak cased 8 Day longcase clock made by Fisher of Preston c.1765. Brass and silvered dial with engraved centre, gilt spandrels to the corners, date aperture and seconds count. Fine Gillows of Lancaster case with shaped top case door flanked by quarter turned columns. Canted corners to the base, standing on shaped bracket feet. Swan neck pediment to the hood with matching turned pillars. Strikes on a bell to the hour. John Fisher of Preston working 1742-1782. Full working order. Superb colour and condition. Stands 20" wide x 10" deep x 85" high.

Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.

We are happy to make initial arrangements for worldwide shipments on your behalf. However, please note that the shipping payment is made by you the customer directly with the shippers.
