THIS DINING SOFREH CONTAINS AN UNDECORATED CENTRAL FIELD WHICH SYMBOLICALLY REPRESENTS THE PHYSICAL EMPTINESS OF THE SOFREH FROM FOOD,EMPHASISING CLOSENESS TO EARTH,SPIRITUALITY,MODESTY & HUMILITY. ALL HAVE A MORE VALUABLE PLACE IN NOMADIC CULTURE THAN WEALTH AND MATERIAL GOODS.

THE FIELD CONTAINS UNDYED NATURAL ANIMAL HAIR WEFTS. ALL WOOL AND ANIMAL HAIR CONSTRUCTION.

A RARE ETHNOGRAPHIC UTILITARIAN SURVIVOR FROM AN EARLIER PERIOD.

THERE IS A SMALL HOLE IN THE STRIPED DARK BROWN BAND AND A SMALL HOLE TO THE FIELD. COMPLETELY UNRESTORED CONDITION AND A GEM OF A TRIBAL WEAVING. (HAS BEEN HAND WASHED). IMAGES OF BOTH SIDES.
