A particularly fine example of an early 19th century mahogany four division Music Canterbury, with dished top supported on plain slats, above a single drawer and raised on elegant turned legs.
Retaining a delightful and very old label stuck inside the drawer, stating ''Sold by John Batten Auctioneer, appraiser and undertaker, at his cabinet and upholstery warhouse, St Margarets Bank, Rochester.
This Canterbury desplays excellent attention to detail with features such as the mahognay lined drawer, the beaded edging and the original crsply gadrooned handles. It is in very fine, original condition.
