Japanese Edo netsuke of blind man lifting a stone. Missing its original signature cartouche (replaced with mother-of-pearl blank), but almost certainly by Gyokkei (see https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/16786/lot/20), who was noted for carving this subject. Measures 3.5cm high x 3.5cm long x 2.5cm deep.
