Spectacular Kingwood Antique Writing Table

This Spectacular Quality late 19th Century Inlaid Kingwood Antique Writing Table / Desk is truly sensational and dates from ca. 1890, stamped by the renowned S & H Jewell of London. It has a stunning serpentine shaped top with decorative brass edging and original / early tooled leather insert. This sits above three Oak lined frieze drawers with a key, working locks and decorative brass edges. This elegant antique writing table stands on cabriole shaped legs, has a shaped apron along with beautiful decorative brass ormolu mounts. It is finished on all sides so can be placed in the centre of the room if desired and comes with wonderful charm and character. The kingwood is a rich golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional bees wax for wood furniture.
