Victorian Oak Mappin & Webb Barometer

A Victorian oak rope twist cased aneroid barometer by highly regarded maker Mappin & Webb c.1880. The substantial solid English oak case with carved rope twist design edge. Porcelain dial sat over the aneroid movement, bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. The dial bearing the makers name Mappin & Webb, London. Full working order and presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 11" diameter x 2.5" deep.
