Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco glass perfume bottles, produced predominantly during the 1920s and 1930s, are defined by geometric shapes, angular forms, and stylized patterns. Manufacturers during this period frequently utilised techniques such as acid etching, press-moulding, and chrome fittings to complement contemporary dressing tables.

Perfume atomisers from the 1930s were constructed using moulded or blown coloured glass combined with metal atomiser heads, often finished in chrome or nickel plating. The internal mechanisms included siphon tubes and fabric-covered rubber bulb pumps designed to disperse fine mists.

Authentic pieces often display geometric silhouette profiles, period-appropriate wear on metal fittings, and distinct mould marks or acid-etched maker stamps. Additionally, original glass stoppers or atomiser mounts usually fit precisely onto the glass neck due to hand-grinding processes.

A set can be positioned on a tray atop a bedroom dressing table, a bathroom shelf, or a hallway console to create a focused visual display. Pairing glass vanity pieces with reflective surfaces or minimal lighting highlights their geometric shapes and coloured glass accents.

Clean glass surfaces gently using warm water and mild liquid soap, avoiding abrasive cloths or submerging intact fabric bulb cords. Metal pump components should be wiped clean with a soft dry cloth to prevent tarnishing and moisture damage inside the spray mechanism.
