Description

A very attractive Victorian walnut decanter box of large proportions with working lock and key, complete with four heavy glass decanters.

The box is of lovely form with a dome top, brass campaign style handles, top inlay and escutcheon. The box retains its original lock and key which operates with ease. The dome top opens to reveal four large decanters, housed within a plush deep burgundy velvet interior which lines the box interior from top to bottom.

The stoppers of all decanters show nibbles to the interior ends, and one decanter has suffered two cracks to the neck (please see photographs). The remaining decanters are in a very good condition.
