A Victorian solid oak five drawer estate chest of drawers with lifting reading lectern to the top by highly regarded maker Gillow & Co, Lancaster. Moulded edge top with lifting surface supported on a ratchet adjustable upstand, removeable retaining strip to the front edge. Five graduated drawers with original original turned knobs. Moulded edge panelled sides and polished back, apron plinth foot. Stamped Gillow & Co below the surface. Superior quality and presented in excellent original condition with a deep shine. Measures 20.5" wide x 14" deep x 40" high.

Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.

Packing and postage charges for mainland UK are shown for most items on this website. Where an item is large or requires specialist delivery, please contact us with your postcode for a specific door-to-door delivery quote.

Through our trusted international shippers we will source the most competitive quote for delivery to your door. All items are wrapped and packed by the specialist shippers.
