This is a beautiful pair of good quality Victorian cast iron and brass beds with a very pretty design dating from around 1880. The beds are in a lovely satin ivory shade with decorative cast detail and brass knobs. These come with their original tight fitting side irons and original Heals upholstered bed bases and bespoke mattresses.They are a great size being 200 cms in length overall by 108 cms wide. This is an extra large single mattress size, being 3ft 6in wide rather than the normal 3 ft.The head board is 138 cms high and the base is 103 cms high.
