Antique Rosewood Sewing Box - Full Of Sewing Items

An antique rosewood sewing box with a working key and intricate gadrooning edges to the lid and base.
When you open the box, you get a wonderful surprise the box is fully fitted out with sewing tools including a selection of wooden thread winders, a set of five rosewood reels, a rosewood waxer, tape measure, a double ended pin cushion, a thimble, needle case, small pin cushion box and acut glass scent bottle. There are also two lidded sections in the box for storage space. The tray lifts out and underneath there is more storage space in the pink paper lined base.
The box has a lovely colour and is in good condition, there a minor surface shrinkage crack on the lid.
It measures 27cm w x 20cm d x 11cm h
