Description

A very attractive George III barrel back armchair.

The armchair boasts a wonderful wide form with seat cushion and reeded front legs terminating in brass square cups and castors. Two cabriole legs to the back, one being a later replacement.

The front legs show some knocks and scuffs and there is a small amount of movement to the frame but the whole remains strong, stable and fully functional. The upholstery has some very slight fading (only evident upon lifting seat cushion), otherwise it is in a good clean condition throughout.
