Description

An extremely attractive example of a Georgian commode cabinet in the form of a small chest of drawers, in mahogany. The side-hung single door opens to reveal a useful interior with a removable shelf. This piece lends itself to having a number of uses, for example: a bedside cupboard, a hi-fi housing, or a drinks cabinet. It is made in high quality well-figured timbers with an original finish having a glowing patina. It is English, George III, c.1800.
