A Chuval is a large woven storage bag face traditionally crafted by nomadic Turkmen tribes of Central Asia. These textiles were created to store clothing and household items inside dwellings, featuring distinct tribal heraldic motifs known as guls.

Yomut Chuvals are hand-knotted using hand-spun wool for both the pile and foundation structure. Traditional dyes were derived from natural plant and madder root sources to produce deep red, navy blue, and natural cream tones.
