Jane Short Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
In excellent condition, it depicts a reposing female nude modelled in relief .
There is an apochriphal "R LALIQUE" stencil on the inside of the cover.

This is a lovely example of the work of Heinrich Hoffman.

These molds were all exclusively pressed by the powerful family glassworks of Josef Riedel established in Polaun (Polubný).
Hoffman opened a shop selling glass jewellery in Paris in the early 1900s. After studying glassmaking in Gablonz he widened the range of his products to decorative pressed molds and flacons through the influence and artistic direction of René Lalique.
