Latched catches to the front, opens to reveal a velvet pad with turned bezel to hold the barometer in position. The dished polished brass barometer with silvered dial, crescent thermometer to the base and visible skeletonised movement. Sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. Bears the makers mark for Vicary, London. Finest quality and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Case measures 7.25" wide x 7.25" deep x 3.5" high. Barometer measures 5" diameter.
