Description

A good pair of silver plated meat covers with removable handles in the form of a stag.

Both have etched foliage decoration and gadrooned edges. There appears to be no plate loss and a few small corrosion marks commensurate with age which Is probably around 1840.

Provenance: removed from Bramfield Folly, Suffolk

Extremely decorative.

The smaller one measures: Height 21cm Width26 Depth 20

The larger one measures : Height 26cm Width 36cm and Depth 28cm
