Masons Antiques has dated this Antique Rosewood Bracket Clock to the Regency era.
The twin fusee, 5 pillar movement strikes the hours on a bell.
There is engraving to the backplate and London style pendulum.
The arch topped rosewood case has canted ebonised corners with brass detailed inlay. There are arched sound frets to the sides and generous detailed brass inlay throughout. It stands on 4 brass ball feet and has a brass carrying handle to the top.
The 8" white painted, convex dial has black Roman numerals with finely cut hands and is signed with the makers name. It has a convex glass within a cast brass bezel.
Measurements shown are with the handle down.
A real quality clock in excellent condition throughout.
