Pair Victorian of William Mellor Oil Paintings

A fine pair of Victorian oils on canvas by sought after Yorkshire artist William Mellor, Barnard Castle & Derwent water C.1900. Both paintings with superb rich colours and good detail in typical of Mellors earlier works. Both paintings inscribed to the rear, one Deepdale, Barnard Castle and the other Derwent water from the hills, Cumberland. Both signed by the artist in full to the front. Sat in good quality swept timber gilt frames with presentation labels. Both in superb condition with no damage or repairs and the frames in excellent condition. Each measures including the frame 24" wide x 18" high x 2" deep.
