Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco jewellery from France, popular between 1920 and 1939, is defined by geometric symmetry, clean linear forms, and platinum metalwork. Designs frequently incorporate repetitive square or rectangular panels, openwork filigree, and millegrain edging with diamond embellishments.

Art Deco bracelets were predominantly constructed using platinum or 18ct white gold to achieve a bright, neutral metal finish. Diamonds, particularly old European cut and single cut varieties, were the primary gemstone, often supported by geometric mountings and yellow gold structural undercarriages.

Authentic period pieces typically feature French control marks, such as a dogs head for platinum or an eagles head for 18ct gold, stamped on the exterior frame or clasp. Additionally, hand-applied millegrain borders, hand-cut diamonds with varied facet proportions, and meticulous hand-pierced gallery construction indicate genuine era craftsmanship.

A geometric diamond panel bracelet functions as a versatile accent that complements modern tailoring and formal evening attire. It can be worn as a singular statement wrist piece or layered alongside simple platinum bands for a understated contemporary look.

Clean platinum diamond items using warm water, mild detergent, and a soft-bristled brush to clear dust behind settings. Avoid abrasive chemicals, store the piece separately in a soft lined pouch to prevent scratch damage, and have the catch mechanism inspected regularly by a professional.
