A magnificent Victorian oak armchair, solidly constructed and richly detailed, in good condition with the expected marks and scuffs of age and use. Upholstered in deep brown leather trimmed with brass studs, the chair shows exceptional graining and colour. The carving is outstanding — figures, masks and wildlife worked with real Victorian flair — giving the piece tremendous presence.
