Description

A quality British antique! A wonderful late Georgian totally imposing mahogany secretaire bookcase cabinet. This superb quality piece has moulded cornice over two glazed doors that open to shelved interior. The base section has a superb secretaire drawer that is fitted with pigeonholes and small drawers that have been expertly veneered with Birdseye Maple. The bottom of the cabinet has two panelled doors that open to a shelved interior. The piece has been later sign written for William Duncan map makers, this has given the cabinet an enhanced look and makes it even more desirable. The cabinet is a great usable storage solution and would look good in retail or home setting. A perfect ‘home office’ all in a few square feet!
