Victorian Mahogany Extending Dining Table & 3 Leaves, 10ft

Description

A super quality antique Victorian flame mahogany wind-out extending dining table with three additional leaves and standing on four baluster shaped legs. This 4ft6 wide table smoothly extends from 5ft 5.5in to 10ft by means of a‘screw expander’ winding mechanism and with all leaves in place it can seat up to 10-12 people. With a double moulded edge to the top and plain frieze and ring turned and reeded legs with brass caps and brown ceramic castors.

With a beautifully dark richly figured top this table has been sympathetically cleaned and waxed using traditional hand methods and the mechanism serviced. The rounded rectangular top also makes it a good option for a boardroom or conference table.

Closed Length - 5ft 5.5in / 65.5in (166.5cm)

Width - 4ft 6in / 54in (137cm)

Height - 28.5in (72.5cm)

Legroom - 22.75in (58cm) under frieze, 26.25in (66.5cm) where no frieze.

If extra legroom is required a set of wooden castor cup risers can be purchased separately.
